Forward Zoom Phone to an AI receptionist

1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal and open Zoom Phone, Settings.
2. Under Business Hours, click Edit next to Call Handling.
3. Add your MyAIVoiceAgent number with Add Phone Number and set it as the forward target for all inbound attempts in that flow.
4. Save, and optionally require press 1 before connecting to external numbers.

To turn it off: Edit the same Call Handling flow and remove the external number or change routing to voicemail.

External forwarding requires a DID on the user and admin policy Call Forwarding to External Numbers. Extension-only users cannot forward externally per Zoom help.

1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal, Zoom Phone, Settings.
2. Under Business Hours, click Edit next to Call Handling.
3. Build the ring order, then set the unanswered path to forward to an external contact or added phone number your MyAIVoiceAgent number.
4. Save the call handling configuration.

To turn it off: Edit Call Handling and route unanswered calls to voicemail instead of an external number.

On a Teams SIP device, dial star-34 with optional seconds then star and your MyAIVoiceAgent number for forward on timeout. Workplace app Voicemail and forwarding settings may require Zoom to enable the feature on some accounts.

1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal, Zoom Phone, Settings.
2. Set Business Hours, then under Closed Hours click Edit next to Call Handling.
3. Click Add Phone Number, enter your MyAIVoiceAgent number, and save.
4. For holidays, use Manage next to Holiday List and Call Handling and edit Call Handling similarly.

To turn it off: Edit Closed Hours or Holiday Call Handling and remove external forwarding.

Closed and holiday flows can differ from business hours. Desk phone closed-hour behavior may require Zoom Support to enable on some accounts.
